Mercury light treatment system
- Function: Treating absolutely the fluorescent light (neon light) which is disposed in the closed process to make sure about not dispersing the mercury vapor from light into the environment
- Capacity:120 lights/h (equivalent to 24kg/h)
- Treatable waste: All sorts of lights, types of waste containing Hg (glass form)
.- Treatment process:
+ The disposed fluorescent light is put into the grinding compartment. The vacuum pumper will be operated to create a low pressure throughout the treatment system to handle and synchronize the fluorescent powder in the lightn.
+ The function of the grinder is to demolish or crush lights, glass into the pieces sizing 3-4mm and lead to the filtering net and then going down to the crushed glass compartment. The crushed metal and glass are cleaned in water and disposed outside through the wasted materials receiving gate and stabilized into a solid.
+ In the process of wash, a part of Hg will dissolve in water. Thus, the rain water will flow it into the absorption column which is covered with the active coal. At this stage, Hg will be absorbed completely and the wash water will be pumped back to the equipment to create a closed cycle for saving water.
